We are excited to introduce you to our Early Entrance Program, a program for high-ability high school students who are looking for the opportunity to leap forward with their studies and take on the challenges and rewards of college level courses. Formerly called the National Academy of Arts, Sciences, and Engineering (NAASE), the Early Entrance Program continues the tradition of supporting young students who are ready for college after their junior year of high school course work.
This special program is designed specifically for high school juniors and seniors who are ready for university-level work at a major research institution. Program participants will be regular University students – taking classes, using libraries and labs, living in residence halls, and being involved in campus life. Other aspects of the program include:
- Weekly college transition seminar with Belin-Blank Center staff.
- Living in Daum Hall, the University of Iowa honors residence hall.
- Individual, bi-weekly meetings with Belin-Blank Center staff.
- Cultural and social events, including theater productions, spa days, graduation luncheon, and much more!
